This begins as the story of a young man (shonen) without powers in a world where 99% of the world's population has powers or some kind of unique trait, a "quirk". A world without The Greatest hero in the galaxy- if not the universe: Who just happened to die the same exact day as his late father. The era of gods has passed, the reign of monsters has come to fill the power vacuum. The young man's name is simply "Izuku Midoriya", his middle name is rarely spoken & only by his mother, Inko. He attempts to enter U.A., a prestigious school for the superpowered, again (he was given an opportunity to take the entrance exam early due to his academia marks; and failed the first time. Caving -in to the time constraints). Sheer grit, wit , & a hint of luck survived him the entrance exam the 2nd time. He & his longtime bully, "Bakugou" have unresolved tension, Izuku fought him on their last day of Junior High and now by sheer chance they'...
